Democracy Hub Overview
Welcome to the Democracy Hub, your comprehensive free resource on the U.S. Democracy nonprofit sector. Created in partnership with industry leaders like the Democracy Funders Network, the Hub is the most comprehensive, insightful, and accessible data platform for the U.S. nonprofit Democracy field.

Taxonomy
Using a specific taxonomy that was expertly crafted by the Democracy Funders Network for this project, Impala has consolidated the information from 4,500 democracy-focused nonprofits and 30,000 funders into 70 curated ecosystems that provide data-driven insights across 9 unique sectors of U.S. democracy.
For a full breakdown of the specialized taxonomy, see our website here.

Access
Thanks to the sponsorship of the Democracy Funders Network, access to the Democracy Hub is totally free! Simply head to the Impala website, and Join the Hub to get registered on the platform and dive into the U.S. Democracy field!
When you first click into a Hub ecosystem you may receive notice that your Hub access is limited. This means that an access request has already been submitted on your behalf to Impala. Your request will be reviewed and you'll receive notice when your access is approved.
While the request is pending, you can still explore the high-level trends and taxonomy. Once approved, you'll be able to access the specific ecosystem data like lists of organizations, grants, and more.
