Ukraine- MedGlobal The ongoing war in Ukraine has left millions displaced and in desperate need of medical care. Through mobile clinics and specialized training MedGlobal and Give to the World brought vital healthcare directly to those most affected.Mobile Clinics: Provided 301 medical consultations and 216 psychological support sessions in the Kharkiv region bringing relief to isolated war-torn communities. Psychological Resilience: Supported mental health for families through counseling and group therapy fostering hope and healing in conflict zones. Philippines - Maradeca Empowering Communities in Asia: Building Resilience in the Philippines with MARADECA In Lanao del Sur Philippines devastating flash floods have uprooted lives destroying homes farmland and livelihoods. Give to the World in partnership with MARADECA is preparing to empower 291 families to rebuild through the Early Recovery Livelihood Support Project. This program addresses not only immediate recovery but also builds long-term resilience for communities most affected by natural disasters. Key Needs for 2025 Farming Inputs and Tools: Families will receive high-quality seeds eggplants cucumbers string beans and more organic fertilizers and essential tools like trowels rakes and sprayers to restart farming. Working with the Greek Ministry of Health the International Organization for Migration and various local and international nonprofits the project provides mobile obstetrics gynecology and pediatric services in the Attica region. In 2024 the project maintained pediatric services four days per week across two Long Term Accommodation Centers Malakasa and Ritsona refugee camps and three urban clinics in Athens Seeds of Humanity Global Brigades and Victoria Community Center. Service Reach: the project provided care for over 1,500 children. Healthcare Services: Pediatric services included consultations immunizations provision of medications and referrals for advanced care. The project also completed "Student Health Cards - ADYM" for children enrolling in Greek schools.
