  • Community Cultural Events and Fundraising

    Wisconsin Malayalee Association(Wisma) organized an annual summer picnic in June of 2024.. A total of 206 people attended the event. There were fun activities and games conducted for the community. This was a great opportunity for community members to meet and connect with other community members. We hosted a fundraising event and cultural show in September (Onam Celebration). This included traditional feast. Roughly 474 people participated in this event. 100 people participated in putting together the cultural show. We hosted a fundraising event and cultural show in December (Christmas Celebration). This included a cultural program and dinner event. Roughly 360 people participated in this event. 150 people participated in putting together the cultural show. In addition, we organized volunteer activity to prepare and donate sandwiches to Guest House of Milwaukee. we organized 9 such volunteering opportunities.

  • Program 1 [2025]

    The Wisconsin Malayalee Association (WISMA) organized its annual summer picnic in June 2025. A total of 250 people attended the event. There were various fun activities and games conducted for the community, providing a great opportunity for members to meet and connect with one another. We hosted a fundraising event and cultural show in September as part of the Onam Celebration. The event included a traditional feast, and approximately 578 people participated. Around 100 volunteers contributed to organizing and presenting the cultural show. In December, we hosted another fundraising event and cultural show as part of the Christmas Celebration. This event featured a cultural program and dinner, with roughly 500 attendees. About 150 volunteers participated in organizing the cultural show. In addition, we organized volunteer activities to prepare and donate sandwiches to the Guest House of Milwaukee. We conducted nine such volunteer opportunities throughout the year. We also launched a new educational program for school children using an online app and started a couple of online events to help promote their soft skills.
