Education Programs Through education, interpretation and research of the natural, historical and cultural resources of the region, ABF is working to inspire people of all ages to learn about and conserve this unique but fragile environment. Land Conservation ABF works to acquire inholdings privately owned parcels within Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and parcels adjacent to the park. ABF has acquired over 65,000 acres acquired since its inception in 1967.
