Hygiene Kits for Girls Project
Grandma Martha Hygiene Kits for Girls Project: Services provided: Hygiene kits distributions and health education at local schools in Cotes-de-fer and surrounding villages. This program has helped 1867 girls with reusable period pads to reduce school absences with 667 hygiene kits. Health education reached 1200 school children. The expanison plan is to introduce the program to four new schools in the 2023/2024 school year. Water for the Elderly and Handicapped - Service provided - Ensured regular delivery of clean safe water to elderly and the handicapped individuals. 500 Individuals benefit from this program. This serves over 200 households. The receive water supply and infrasturcture support. This program gives health improvement, notable improvement in health and hygiene among the elderly and handicapped individuals due to access to clean water. Community engagement of volunteers to support water deliverly and maintenance. Weekly Nurse Visits to Elderly and Handicapped: Services provided - Healthcare visits conducted weekly to provide medical care and health monitoring for elderly and handicapped. Medical support- provides medications, health check-ups and personalized care plans. The program benefits 300 individuals with over 1,200 nurse viits annually. Other relevant outcoumes include significant improvement in health and well-being of beneficiaries. Early detections and management of health issues through regular monitoring.
