  • Developmental Trauma and Attachment Program

    THE DEVELOPMENTAL TRAUMA AND ATTACHMENT PROGRAM IS A RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES SERVICES 24/7 TO MALE AND FEMALE YOUTH AGES 6 TO 17 IN A COTTAGE ENVIRONMENT. THIS PROGRAM SERVES CHILDREN WITH SEVERE ATTACHMENT DIFFICULTIES BY HELPING THEM GAIN THE CAPACITY TO FORM RECIPROCAL RELATIONSHIPS. CHILDREN PLACED IN THE PROGRAM HAVE INTACT ADOPTIVE OR FOSTER FAMILIES WHO ARE INVOLVED IN TREATMENT DURING VISITS AS WELL AS THROUGH OTHER MEANS OF COMMUNICATION. IN FY24, THE PROGRAM HAS SERVED CHILDREN FROM 16 STATES. 93% OF CLIENTS POST DISCHARGE ARE ATTENDING SCHOOL OR HAVE GRADUATED AND 73% OF PARENTS REPORT THEIR CHILD IS EXPERIENCING FEWER OVERALL DIFFICULTIES POST-DISCHARGE.

    CHADDOCK FOSTER AND ADOPTION SERVICES EXEMPLIES RESILIENCE AND COMMITMENT AS ONE OF ILLINOIS' TOP RANKED CHILD WELFARE AGENCIES. THE FOSTER AND ADOPTION PROGRAM EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS WITH A 53.85% PERMANENCY RATE. IN FY24 THERE WERE 328 YOUTH SERVED, WITH 100 YOUTH ACHIEVING PERMANENCY AND 52 ADOPTIONS FINALIZED.

  • Child Care Provider Support Program

    Caregiver Connections supports child care providers throughout the state Of Illinois in recognizing, understanding, and responding to the social emotional needs of the children, birth through age five, in their care. With 16 service delivery areas throughout the state, Master's level Mental Health Consultants provide training and support for childcare providers, to build their capacity for nurturing positive relationships, healthy social-emotional development and resiliency for all young children. In FY24 the team completed their first classroom model pilot, supported by data0-informed decisions and system updates developed in collaboration with the consultant and leadership team. In FY24 602 childcare providers were served, 816 training events were held with 10,105 participants.
