Lending Library - We began laying the foundations for our lending library, which will be free and accessible to the public, for a total expense cost of $1,691.61. We established the infrastructure to receive, and have received our first 400 donated books. We ordered the supplies to prepare these books for circulation and processed an estimated 93 books. We identified a short-term storage solution for the books to implement until we have a permanent space for the library's collection and ordered storage infrastructure including shelving and storage containers.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2023 – Dec 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$1.7KProgram 1 [2024]
We offered thirty programs in 2024, all free and open to the public, for a total expense cost of $3,311.67. Of those programs, nine were book club meetings, twelve were in-person events (often in collaboration with community partners), one was a virtual author talk, and eight were affinity group meetings. Our largest virtual event was with author Aaron H. Aceves, with 22 participants joining. Many of our in-person events drew larger numbers, such as our Book and Clothing Swap with the Mycelium Network with approximately 55 participants and our Warm Winter's Night end of year event, which had 95 registrants. In addition to our programs, we tabled at 16 different community events to build community investment in the library by connecting with future patrons and supporters while distributing, bookmarks and information about the QT Library. The objectives of our programming are to open doors to creative expression, celebrate our similarities and differences, and deepen our connections to our community and our planet. The programs and spaces that we create and have created this year are designed to be affirming and inclusive - programs and spaces where participants can be their fullest selves and connect joyfully and authentically with others in the queer and trans community around shared interests and resources.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$3.3K
