  • Business Education Alliance Program

    Business Education Alliance (BEA) The Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerces Business Education Alliance Program aims to bridge the gap between employers, students, and educators. We partnered Stockton Unified School District different employer outreach activities and work-based learning activities. BEA Mixers, College and Career Fairs, Breakfast Symposiums, Mock interviews, and Dress for Success Clothes DriveLeadership Stockton Class of 2023 graduates 23 community members and completes their C.H.A.N.G.E.S. (Champions Helping a New Generation Establish Success) Project, a 3-part Community Service project. They partnered with the Boys and Girls Club Sierra Vista to relaunch a facility in Stockton at the newly renovated building in the Sierra Vista Neighborhood. The project included a technology hub, art center, and additional educational activities. The brand-new outdoor sporting area will provide athletic interaction. This club will serve 125 elementary and teen aged youth per day.They partnered with the Childrens Home of Stockton Catalyst Transitional Housing Program that houses homeless youth 18-24 years of age. The project provided the facility with a much-needed outdoor recreation and relaxation area. The project included providing landscaping, a gazebo structure, firepit, mural as well as outdoor games and activities to provide residents with a tranquil place at home.They partnered with the Haven of Peace shelter that provides resources for women and children who have experienced domestic violence, homelessness or other life-changing circumstances. Services including housing, job preparation, parenting classes, food and nutrition, and much more. The food storage warehouse needed an updated HVAC system to provide better climate control. The class goal was to provide assistance and training in research funding opportunities and grant writing.
