WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL MATCH RACING ASSOCIATION WAS ORGANIZED TO PROMOTE WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR MATCH-RACE SAILING. SUCH PROMOTION INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, PROMOTING WOMEN'S MATCH-RACE SAILING IN THE OLYMPIC GAMES, COORDINATING AND ENCOURAGING MIXED-GENDER MATCH RACING, AND INCREASING FEMALE PARTICIPATION IN SUCH EVENTS.
