KHALSA PEACE CORPS
Mission Statement
Our mission is to build caring communities through mobile kitchens that selflessly share meals and basic necessities with the underserved. To accomplish this mission we establish a network of mobile kitchens and catering vans to serve at temporary shelters and tents of people experiencing homelessness. We use the same mobility of our local volunteers during the emergencies and disasters. Share A Meal Clubs at Universities or Colleges lead our distribution network of local volunteers. In order to build a community of volunteers and to ensure the safety and security of our volunteers and recipients we organize retreats for training in mass feeding.
