WE TYPICALLY BRING THE WORLD CLASS CASSATT STRING QUARTET (CASSATTQUARTET.COM) TO WEST TEXAS ANNUALLY TO INSPIRE AND WORK INTENSIVELY WITH OUR STUDENTS AND OUR MUSICAL COMMUNITY THROUGH CHAMBER MUSIC. WE WANT TO GIVE STUDENTS THE VISION OF WHAT CAN BE ACCOMPLISED BY EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION, RESPONSIBILITY TO THE GROUP, RESPECT FOR ONE ANOTHER, AND THE INTIMATE MUSICAL EXPRESSION THAT CHAMBER MUSIC PROVIDES. DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS THIS YEAR, THE CASSETT STRING QUARTET DID NOT TRAVEL TO WEST TEXAS BUT PROVIDED COACHING AND MENTORING ACTIVITIES VIRTUALLY.
