Mission Statement

RAFIKI Outreachs primary focus is community development through borehole well drilling in villages and schools in East Africa--specifically Tanzania for this fiscal year with plans to expand more into neighboring countries. We work with a local drilling company Rafiki Drilling to scout out locations and to meet with community leaders to assess the needs of each community and its people. The community leaders are educated on further improvement of their lives by using clean water to increase the yield of their crops and herds to improve hygiene and to use extra hours restored to their day previously spent walking to collect water by attending school and expanding their businesses.
