  • Abortion Access Fund

    The fund has helped almost 700 Maine women afford an abortion that they otherwise might not have been able to have. SAFE spent over $70,000 in provider fees. Our volunteer fundraising efforts were fruitful, raising over $82,000 and the Board is optimistic that we'll be able to continue SAFE's work for many years to come.

    SAFE supported 398 abortion seekers, distributing a total of $145,366 and gave out 89 gift cards to help with transportation costs.
