During the 2023 year, TTF did a significant amount of trail clearing and annual maintenance. This included removing many downed trees that fell over trails during the heavy winter of 2022-23, and maintained approximately 180 miles of existing trails. The draft of the Environmental Assessment for the Pines to Mines trail was released in 2023 allowing that project to proceed towards construction. Additionally, numerous trails were constructed in the Sawtooth Recreation Area south of Truckee.
