Comprehensive Healthcare and Education Support
In 2022, our clinic served over 34,000 patients including inpatients and outpatients. We provided funding for rent, health insurance for the Founder, over $5,300 for capital equipment, and $25,000 to fund the Safe Motherhood Busongora program. Additionally, we provided over $350,000 to purchase the new site and begin building the new clinic. We have supported the education of 149 orphans and other vulnerable children from primary school to university. 11 of those students will graduate in the coming year. Additionally, we completed programs to provide dental training for a clinical officer and reconstructive surgery training for the former chief medical officer. We began a new postgraduate physician training program that will help us retain our physicians. Finally, we are poised to expand to new settings and are negotiating with the former chief medical officer who will return to use his skills in sub-Saharan Africa. We look forward to the opportunity to partner with all groups who share our goals and work to educate more displaced orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda and other countries in Africa.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$442.7KProgram 1 [2025]
The greatest of 2025 achievements at Kasese Community Medical Centre (KCMC) was the completion of the new Medical Centre. The new Medical Centre provides quadruple space for our services. Vividly from October when the services reolcated to the new premises there has been an increase in the numbers of patients we serve. The Facility has 48 beds out of its maximum capacity of 55. The facility has 13 private rooms and 6 general wards which have enabled us to segregate our admissions according to Ugandan Ministry Health guidelines. Progressively we are introducing specialized clinic days and have onboarded 3 specialists already; a Gynecologist, a physician, and another for Ear Nose and Throat conditions. The data for quite a number of high volume service points shows that we served 27,250 patients. The upgrade resulted in an additional 1,500 members of community that benefited from the health care services. The Education program supported 186 orphans and vulnerable children. 23 of them were at university level with 9 of them in their final year. 2025 registered 9 OVCs that completed their courses.Additionally, we provided funding for rent, health insurance for the Founder, capital equipment, and outfitting of the new medical centre. We look forward to the opportunity to partner with all groups who share our goals and work to educate more displaced orpans and vulnerable children in Uganda and other countries in Africa.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2025 – Dec 31, 2025Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$190.9K
