YRPU has assisted more than 875 women with shelter placement and has reunited approximately 6500 families with their loved ones since incorporated in February of 2003. The program provides counseling to educate families about the risk of domestic violence and has assisted many battered individuals to find safety such as housing and shelter placements to provide a healthier living environment. YRPU stands as a pillar for abused women, and families' rights and safety.
