Through our community engagement efforts, we support over 3,500 neighbors organizing to address self-identified issues by building stronger connections between and among diverse residents, civic groups, government, and community partners. One of our main services is our Development Academy which teaches residents how to become community leaders and make their voice heard in the neighborhood. Our organizing efforts work to bring diverse voices to the table, including those historically absent from civic and political participation low-income residents, immigrants, and members of certain ethnic and religious backgrounds.Geographies18r Shepard St, Boston, MA 02135, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedCommunity and economic developmentIndigenous peoples,Multiracial people,People of African descent,People of Asian descent,People of European descent,People of Latin American descent,People of Middle Eastern descent,At-risk youth,Economically disadvantaged people,Immigrants and migrants,Incarcerated people,Victims and oppressed people450–Resident Services
We support the residents who live in ABCDC affordable housing, so they may maintain strong, stable tenancies, grow their personal networks and access services so they may pursue their goals. Our efforts are two-fold; case management for tenants who hit bumps in the road of life such as income gaps, challenges paying rent, health issues, domestic issues and housekeeping issues just to identify a few, and then programming via the All Bright Community Center.Geographies1287 Commonwealth Ave, Allston, MA 02134, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedCommunity and economic development,Human servicesAdults,Children and youth,At-risk youth,Economically disadvantaged people,Immigrants and migrants1K–
