Educational Events on Regulatory Issues
NECPUC organizes and produces educational and training events, at which Commissioners, state staff, and stakeholders from the region and beyond listen to speakers and engage in discussions on regulatory issues. Industries discussed include electricity, natural gas, water, and telecommunications. Issues can include such topics as financing, security, reliability, diversity, service delivery, and what the future may look like in the utility industry. NECPUC provides training, workshops, and meetings for State Commissioners and staff. This includes NECPUC planning and carrying out trainings, workshops, and meetings, as well as providing support, in the form of travel reimbursement, to attend trainings sponsored by other entities in New England.
