Career and Business Development Services
The agencys primary grant was renewed to continue to providebasic career and business development services to 125disadvantaged residents in Fairfield County. Additional trainingservices include Urban Farming Training and ServeSafe FoodHandlers certification.Additional funding was received from the American Rescue Plan Act(ARPA) in the amount of $250,000.00 to implement a neighborhoodbased business development center to provide technical assistanceand resources to 300 local businesses.The agency expanded its scope of services to include CertifiedNurses Aid Training and received a grant in the amount of$120,000.00 for training and case management services.
