DEVELOPING RADIO PARTNERS IS DEDICATED TO BRINGING INFORMATION ON THE MOST IMPORTANT TOPICS IN DEVELOPMENT - POPULATION, CLIMATE CHANGE, HEALTH AND GOVERNANCE - TO THOSE WHO ARE HARDEST TO REACH, USING THE MOST EFFECTIVE MEDIA: LOCAL RADIO AND TEXT MESSAGING AND VARIOUS SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.DEVELOPING RADIO PARTNERS,(DRP),IS A SOLUTIONS-ORIENTED ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO BUILDING VIBRANT, PARTICIPATORY COMMUNITIES INTERNATIONALLY, THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF FINANCIALLY AND EDITORIALLY INDEPENDENT MEDIA SERVICES WITH A FOCUS ON COMMUNITY RADIO. Developing Radio Partners is a US-based non-profit media development organization that works with people running community based radio stations in developing countries. We provide them with the skills, content and methodologies they need to bring reliable information services on development topics to their listeners. Developing Radio Partners is dedicated to bringing information on the most important topics in development - population, climate change, health and governance - to those who are hardest to reach, using the most effective media: local radio, text messaging and various social media platforms. Developing Radio Partners,(DRP),is a solutions-oriented organization committed to building vibrant, participatory communities internationally, through the development of financially and editorially independent media services with a focus on community radio. Country by country, we build the capacity of individual radio stations, associations and programming networks by working alongside station managers, their staff and their communities to achieve local development goals that enrich people's lives.
