The JTM Foundation's fundraising efforts for 2020 were greatly impacted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The JTM Foundation was unable to safely hold our usual in-person fundraising events and pivoted to online and direct mail fundraising. It established the COVID-19 Emergency Fund to raise the funds to support the hospital's frontline staff during the pandemic. It also produced a short documentary film, Together We Can, about Mather Hospital as told through the stories and voices of our patients, staff, and leaders. Film sponsorships were solicited and secured. The JTM Foundation also completed a substantial amount of planning for a five-year capital campaign that it launched in late 2020 to support vital new infrastructure on the main campus and in the community.The Foundation also recorded and acknowledged all gifts an ensured appropriate recognition and stewardship.
