Disability Unite Music and Arts Festival
In 2020 ABS created the Disability Unite (DU) Music and Arts Festival, a partnership with the NYC Mayor's Office of People with Disabilities MOPD. With the motto For The Community, By The Community, attendance of over 11,000 viewers, and 75 disabled performing artists and cultural workers paid for their work, the DU Festival brings audiences of all ages and communities together with a single purpose: Disability Pride. Businesses Committed to Access & Inclusion (BCAI) provides pro-bono accessibility guidance and disability inclusion training to small businesses in NYC.
