Expansion to DetroitExpansion to Detroit has been a major milestone and extensive undertaking this year. Administratively, we set up the legal framework for the expansion to occur, created operating manuals and have assumed the systemization and tracking of all Figure Skating in Detroit income, expenses as well as supply HR and administrative support. On the ground, this has required the efforts of many, and our CEO in particular. From creating partnerships with a local rink, to staffing and training, drumming up local support from the pillars of the philanthropy, business and skating worlds and securing buy-in from community participants. After introducing the community to our unique model through series of workshops in FY17, in FY18 we enrolled 65 girls in a week-long summer camp in August and 50 girls into our full afterschool program.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2017 – Jun 30, 2018Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$330.7KProgram 3 [2018]
