Schuyler Hospital is a 25 bed acute care facility with critical access hospital status and 24 hour emergency services. It provides a full complement of healthcare services to the public in support of the community need for healthcare close to home, which includes the residents of Schuyler County and its surrounding communities. Medical services in 2024 included 3,360 inpatient days, 29,902 Long Term Care days, 203,410 outpatient procedures and 23,188 physician visits. In 2024 Schuyler Hospital provided $179k in free and reduced cost care through its charity care policy and incurred over $1.7M in bad debt due to the remaining uninsured and increasing under-insured population in the community.
