IN 1970 THE Y MERGED WITH THE WOMEN'S EDUCATIONAL AND INDUSTRIAL UNION (WEIU).THE YMCA PUTS CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES INTO PRACTICE THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT BUILD HEALTHY SPIRIT, MIND AND BODY FOR ALL. YMCAS ARE FOR PEOPLE OF ALL FAITHS, RACES, ABILITIES, AGES AND INCOMES. YMCA PROGRAMS AND SERVICES ARE PRICED TO BE AFFORDABLE AND ACCESSIBLE TO THE BROAD COMMUNITY.
