Program Activity Part 2.- Celebrated its 50th Anniversary Season- Created a 50th Anniversary Historical Program Guide- Presented a full slate of concerts and 2 youth programs for its "50th Anniversary Season Annual Season - 2023". The 50th Anniversary Program was created and curated to be reflective and representative of the Series past and present. It demonstrated the evolution of the Series and served as a beacon for the future. 1. Thursday June 1 6-9 pm A SLCMEA Music Education Event The Phoenix Jazz Cooperative (Scott LaVine, Sam Bailey, Larry Baycura & Steve Bird) performing with various soloists and groups from St. Lawrence County Schools.2. Thursday, June 8 Galumpha - Imagination Released 1 NNCS, 7 pm for General publicCombining stunning acrobatics, striking visual effects, physical comedy and inventive choreography, Galumpha brings to life a world of imagination, beauty, muscle and merriment. 3. Thursday, June 15 The Goddard Girls (Nicholville - Holly & Brooke) and The Dotys (Potsdam - Liesl & Karl) Fiddle music from fiddle/violin master Liesl Doty and her student at Crane, Holly Goddard. 4. Sunday, June 18 Annie and the HedonistsAn eclectic mix of acoustic blues, vintage jazz and swing, and folk roots Americana 5. Thursday, June 22 Northern Symphonic WindsNorthern New York's only professional Wind Ensemble, Northern Symphonic Winds will perform music suitable to outdoor concerts. 6. Sunday, June 25 J2B2 The John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band Led by Grammy Award recipient John Jorgensen J2B2 is an all-star bluegrass super group featuring four legendary, award-winning musicians. 7. Sunday, July 2 6 pm Dan Duggan leads a public dance on the GreenA recipient of the prestigious National Hammered Dulcimer Championship, Dan's accomplishment, though based on technical merit, is even more considerable as he is the first winner to have performed all original compositions. 7 pm Magpie Since 1973, Terry Leonino and Greg Artzner have brought their unique sound and remarkable versatility to audiences everywhere, featuring traditional and vintage Americana to contemporary and stirring original compositions. 9. Sunday, July 9 La Banda MoriscaThe appearance by La Banda Morisca is supported by IberMusicas in conjunction with Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation through its Iber Exchange and the National Endowment for the Arts. Comprised of musicians from Cadiz, Spain with different professional backgrounds, La Banda Morisca's music is a convergence of roots and traditional music and the desire to experiment and evoke the cultural heritage of ancient al-Andalus and the legacy it has left on the music currently performed in Andalusia, the Maghreb and the Middle East. 11. Thursday, July 27 Tres Souls - Classic Bolero music from Mexican films of the 1930's and '40's as performed by this Los Angeles trio.15. Sunday, July 30 Ustad Shaffat Khan - Sitar master and accompanying musicians Victor Nika, Guitar and Rishy Mehrotra,Tabla. Maestro Khan, world-renowned Indian Classical musician, son of Ustad Imrat Khan and nephew of Ustad Vilayat Khan, has enthralled audiences all around the world performing at many prestigious Concert Halls, festivals, universities, museums, and more. 16. The Norwood Village Green Concert Series' 52nd Annual Season began on May 28, 2025 and completed its programming activities on September 14, 2025.
