  • Emergency Response Services

    Responded to 59 alarms during 2024 including calls both inside our District and in neighboring districts. Direct expenses for responding to these calls are paid by the District rather than the Company. All firefighters are volunteers and are unpaid. Scores of people were positively affected by our responses - homeowners business owners hikers motor vehicle drivers and passengers.

  • Firehouse Construction Project

    The Company is in the process of building a safer Firehouse to house the Districts apparatus and equipment and to better serve the public. Company volunteers have donated hundreds of hour in preparing the adjoining site negotiating contracts working on municipal and state government compliance and coordinating with the building contractors. During 2024 the Company spent more than $152,000 of its own money on labor and materials; the State through a competitive grant reimbursed approximately $67,000 during 2024.

  • Fire Safety Education

    The Company has participated in educational sessions for the public school children in particular about fire safety. All this work has been voluntary unpaid.
