The Women's Goat Project
The Women's Goat Project loans 3 goats. Recipients have 2 years to return 3 goats which are transferred to new participants. Goats can be sold but a brood of 2 must be maintained for breeding to generate income. The Women's Small Business Initiative provides business training and financing to help women build self-sustaining businesses to increase income and achieve financial independence. The Scholars Support Program has supported 400 students by providing primary and secondary education. It covers tuition, tutoring, and some supplies as such backpacks, pencils, and notebooks.
