We closed out a USDA Farm to School grant in collaboration with Jeremiah House refugee for abused women. We closed out a Women's Sports Foundation grant benefiting Green Forest youth sports' outreaches to girls. We administered a youth job training program for youth soccer referees as well as a recreational soccer program for low-income youth. In collaboration with the Carroll County Hometown Health Coalition and the Carroll County Juvenile Probation Office, were awarded a five-year, $125,000 annual Drug-Free Communities grant which began in October. We received a $1,000 grant and assisted the Green Forest Lions Club in producing a car show benefiting local students. We received a $2,500 grant with which we collaborated with the Alianza Hispana community organization to host a September celebration of Central America's Independence Day, Mexico's Grita de Dolores and the U.S. Constitution Day. We were awarded funding for a greenway/trail connecting an isolated ethnic community with the Green Forest public schools campus, however have not collected any of that funding ($498,000) while we secure the required 20% matching funds which a partner, the local school district was unable to contribute due to their unexpected funding shortfalls.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2024 – Jun 30, 2025Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$0
