Community Assistance and Resource Services
1.Organization coordinated assistance, referrals, case management, life skill education, advocacy and small grants. People for People maintains an online Resource Directory providing user-friendly access to local South Jersey region resources. In the past year PFP has processed over 3700 phone inquiries, providing referrals and assistance. PFP has accepted 425 Direct Grant applications for consideration. PFP has processed 750 NJ Page grants and referred 600 applicants to LiHeap/US Funds for additional processing. Through the Supportive Services Program, PFP services over 450 families. Over 325 Veterans have been interviewed and processed for Veteran Benefits. 2. People for People has provided LifeSkill class which included Art and Garden classes to over 400 attendees in six (6) Affordable housing developments in the South Jersey Region. PFP has also hosted Mental Health certification classes for over 125 professionals in the mental health field with a focus on Veteran mental health topics.3. People for People provided case management services to 48 Veteran families helping them access available services.
