Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Programs
The Virginia University of Integrative Medicine was founded in 2004 as an institution of higher education designed to offer Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine education to students from around the world. The University is certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education of Virginia SCHEV, approved for licensure by the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education for the State of New Jersey, authorized by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission in Georgia, and is institutionally accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (ACAHM). The University offers programs at both the Masters and Doctoral Levels in the English, Korean, and Chinese languages.
