5 core principles that guide the work are cultural rootedness, environmental stewardship, intergenerational exchange, lifelong learning, and health and wellbeing. Major programs in 2021 included caring for 2 ancient hawaiian fishponds (each approx 30 acres) and also malama aina, caring for the land which includes our 1.5 acre lot abutting Alii fishpond. we focused on starting a native plant nursery and also housed 3 Princeton interns over the summer who contributed over 5000 volunteer hours combined.
