BEYOND OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENTS WE ALSO SUPPORT REGIONAL EFFORTS SPONSORED BY SUCH ORGANIZATIONS AS THE CADDO/BOSSIER PORT, BIO-MEDICAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION AND THE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS AT BPCC. THE MISSION OF THE GBEDF IS TO POSITION BOSSIER TO BE COMPETITIVE IN SECURING NEW JOBS AND INVESTMENT. WE SEEK TO PLACE EMPHASIS ON INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT, ASSISTANCE TO BOSSIER'S RURAL COMMUNITIES, WORK FORCE DEVELOPMENT AND REGIONAL QUALITY OF LIFE ISSUES.THE GBEDF ALSO ADMINISTERS PROGRAMS WHICH ASSIST WITH SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND LEGISLATIVE ISSUES MANAGEMENT.
