Medical Care for Underserved Communities
Program Accomplishments: Medical Program Our nonprofit organization provided critical medical care to underserved communities. Through our primary medical care program we conducted consultations for 2541 individuals distributing free medicine to address a variety of health concerns. Our surgical medical services were provided by US surgeons who focused on womens health providing 4 breast cancer surgical procedures 103 mammograms and multiple biopsies all at no cost to patients. Program Service Accomplishment: Feeding Program Our nonprofit organizations feeding program provided essential food supplies to 150 families in Haiti offering enough food to last approximately two weeks for an average household size of four people. The food distributed included 40 pounds of rice 15 pounds of beans and 1 gallon of vegetable oil per family. This effort resulted in approximately 8400 meals addressing critical food insecurity in the community of Leogane.
