The Organization introduces history to the community through engaging events including a 5K run past historic properties, cemetery tours with live actors, and the Taste of Oviedo cook-off. The Organization distributes free calendars to students and strives to make history fun and relevant, especially for kids. The Organization aims to preserve historic buildings and landscapes, and promote community health through active engagement with its historical surroundings.
