Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Foundation (the Foundation) was established in September 2005 as a California corporation organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes. The Foundation receives support on a discretionary basis from Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (the Corporation). The primary purpose of the Foundation is to engage in charitable and educational activities within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (the Code) of 1986, as amended, or corresponding provision of any future United States internal revenue law. The Foundation primarily awards disaster relief grants to employees of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. who are needy or distressed due to disasters and awards matching gifts to nonprofit organizations on behalf of employees. The Foundation also provides grants for purposes including support towards healthy children/healthy mothers, education, healthy home (includes disaster relief, homelessness), LGBTQ issues, racial equity, gender gap
