    Other Programs Other Programs of Abundance in 2020 included the 5th annual Death Faire and Chatham Social Justice Exchange. In addition to Joy of Movement, Abundance NC fiscally sponsored Tall Grass Food Box, Fayetteville Labyrinth Project, Piedmont Fibershed, Be Good to Yourself, Apex Farmers Market, and heart2heart.

    Joy of Movement Joy of Movement continues to offer classes and events to enhance personal well-being and meaningful connections in the community through movement, music, and meditation. 2020 was a difficult year due to the pandemic, and JOM did its best to adapt. We set up wifi in the studio so that teachers could continue to offer their classes online during the time when we were not open to the public. The studio reopened to the public in October, taking appropriate precautions.

    Neighbor2NeighborThis was a new program stemming from the effects of the pandemic on our local community and Latinx populations. We began a program where we pay peoples rent, utility, or food bills. We connected local community members with people in need. People with the resources to pay bills would either pay them directly or deliver food directly, or Abundance NC program staff would pay bills directly.
