    Microchurch planting: Our main service as an organization is to help initiate and grow microchurches reaching different groups of people in the city. In 2020, we served about 150 microchurches. This included 10 new microchurches that we said yes to and seven new elders that we ordained. Some of our microchurches are need-based and are engaging people in the margins. They form community around a shared calling of meeting a certain need or addressing a certain dispersed group of people. They raise their own support from outside of the Underground to pay their staff and accomplish their vision.

  • Program 2 [2020]

    Ministry Center (Hub): This program expense provides multi-use meeting rooms, offices, and an auditorium in a separate space. This auditorium is available to microchurches to use as needed. The Hub provides office spaces for support and microchurch staff and volunteers, and conference rooms for training and meetings. The services we provide to microchurches to support their ministries are mainly located here. In 2020, we were able to serve 30 microchurches with facility events and office space that honored covid guidelines, and 6 microchurches with online meeting services during quarantine.

  • Program 3 [2020]

    Training Program: We seek to help and resource new and current leaders to do the ministry that they're called to do. We offer different training and services that include a summer institute, special events, and conferences. In the 2020 tax year, we offered over fifty training platforms especially tailored for our leaders needs and coached over thirty leaders from around the world. Nearly 400 missional leaders in Tampa and beyond were inspired and empowered through our training and conferences, many of which were hosted online to great success in 2020 due to the pandemic.
