The Annual Youth Achievement Awards
THE ANNUAL YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS (AYAA) is a proprietary circular capacity building program created by YouthUSA Founder Stephanie A. Walker Stradford. In 2024, the program used Microsoft Sharepoint collaboration software to demonstrate capacity building in support of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 1, NoPoverty2030 MissionPossible. Two Sub-Saharan Africa communities of faith identified beneficiaries of FAITH FAMILY TRUSTS using THE ANNUAL YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS program model. Two Generation Alpha beneficiaries in the Kingdom of Lesotho, a UN identified LDC (Least Developed Country), surrounded by South Africa, and three Generation Alpha beneficiaries in Ivory Coast, a country on the southern coast of West Africa. A 20k USD appropriation from the J.D. and Laurena Walker Development Program funded YouthUSA Fellowships to past winners, Gen Z Joi Butler, Gen Y Elana Jenkins and Gen Z Intern Emanuella Ingrid Kacou to develop and certify Gen Z trustees for a World Bank Umbrella 2.0 Trust. Community Asset Managers Maselemeng Molupe and Kouakou Akissi Marguerite identified a total of 27 Generation Alpha candidates for economic inclusion.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$12.7KThe American Mentor Wire Service
THE AMERICAN MENTOR WIRE SERVICE (AMWS) is a communications asset of Youth Achievers USA Institute. AMWS operates as a news service via Internet. Production of eighteen (18) YouTube videos and seventeen 17 Blog posts augmented Facebook, Twitter, and Linked-In social/business networking. Spending for the AMWS 2024 program supported a 10-member virtual delegation to the United Nations, demonstrating cross-generational engagement with The January 30, 2024 Partnership Forum of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). The LIVE forum was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, USA. The program operated an interactive site featuring LIVE interaction between Microsoft Teams and UN TVGeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$768J.D. and Laurena Walker Fund
The J.D. and Laurena Walker Fund (JDLWF) serves as a development program, identifying SUFICIENT PROVISION for COMMON VISION. In 2024, the fund included a $10,000 at-risk investment at Chicago's Ariel Investments and $100,000 in FDIC Insured bank assets toward an endowment for sustaining #NoPoverty2030. A replicable $100 million endowment is envisioned through crowdfunding and grants, demonstrated by the assessed needs of 100 Generation Alpha beneficiaries. Each Gen Alpha has a projected $1 million Whole Village Trust, economically including 20 caring adults, each with a minimum net worth of $50,000 by June 9, 2030. JDLW 2023 program spending of $3042 supported cash and hardware grants. The program invested in development of virtual (Internet sites) and real property (GrandMentors' House), compounding value to inherited resources from the J.D. and Laurena Walker Family. In 1996, Laurena Puriefoy Walker invested faith in the YouthUSA community as its first GrandMentor. Youth Achievers USA Institute engages current and new directors in codifying this edification for elders in the YouthUSA Corporate Village. #PlayTheGame is under development as a process for inclusion in shared ownership of The New Stradford Hotel Upon Black Wall Street. Outcomes are yet to be determined.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$0
