CSII ACCOMPLISHES ITS EXEMPT PURPOSE BY:-LEASING UNUSED SCHOOL FACILITIES, PRIMARILY FROM THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA GOVERNMENT;-SUBLEASING THE FACILITIES TO START-UP PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOLS AT BELOW-MARKET RENT RATES;-PROVIDING PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE FACILITIES, INCLUDING MAINTENANCE, CLEANING, AND REPAIRS; AND-RENOVATING AND MODERNIZING THE FACILITIES, PRIMARILY FUNDED THROUGH SHORTER-TERM DEBT (1-5 YEARS).
