Caring Friends focuses on children at risk, offers awards to refugee youth and their collegiate mentors, promotes in-school and after-school reading initiatives, supports ex-offender re-entry programs, encourages the repair of used medical equipment for use in developing countries, and targets preventive healthcare efforts among Latinos.
