Public Interpretive Events at Fort Hancock
AGFA normally conducts three public interpretive events at Fort Hancock each year. In 2024, three events were conducted (May, October, December). These events were attended by approximately 1,200 public visitors who were able to learn about the US Army's role in defending America's major ports, harbors and naval bases during WWII. The expenses recorded are half of the cost of liability insurance and intrusion detection alarm monitoring.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$546Restoration and Maintenance of Historic Fortifications

AGFA supports public events outside of Fort Hancock at other locations. These events do not generate direct costs to the association. Members pay their own costs in order to attend these events. Many of these events are in support of other organizations and are reported in the "Past Events" page on the AGFA website. The cost of liability insurance is paid using AGFA funds that did NOT include donations received at Fort Hancock (Sandy Hook unit, Gateway National Recreation Area, US National Park Service).GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$126
