  • Making the Artivist Apprenticeship Program

    The Community Engagement and Education Department, consists of our signature Making the Artivist Apprenticeship Program , School/Community Education Partnerships and Corporate Workshops. Through these programs the organization reaches more than 2,500 Chicago students and 4,000 individuals and families annually. The program participants develop their dance and artivism skills while also building community in an engaging environment.

  • Professional Touring Dance Company

    The Professional Touring Company is Chicago's premier Afro-Contemporary dance company. It is a 9-member member ensemble that tours and performs locally, nationally and internationally. The choreographic work is designed by its Artistic Director and guest choreographers. The company also provides master classes and workshops while on tour as well as an annual Black History Month School matinee for local schools.
