Program 1 [2020]
a. To improve communications and encourage cooperative, harmonious and stable labor-management relations in the masonry industry and to provide a forum to discuss mutual interests;b. To preserve, identify and expand work opportunities for masons and their employers in the industry;c. To enhance the economic development and competitiveness of the unionized masonry industry and the job security of employees in the industry and eliminate the problems of reduced competitiveness and the inhibition of economic development of the unionized masonry industry;d. To promote the establishment and maintenance of quality training programs for masons employed or to be employed in the industry;e. To foster goodwill and economic development in communities served by the industry;f. To assist and assure effective enforcement of State and Federal prevailing wage legislation by, among other things, monitoring job sites, gathering data, presenting information and evidence to appropriate federal and state agencies, and to take such other action as will further the administration and enforcement of prevailing wage legislation;g. To encourage free collective bargaining between the Union and Employers in the industry;h. To solicit and otherwise raise funds to finance the Trust's activities from any lawful source, including Unions, Employers, private foundations, and the federal, state and local governments;i.
