Student Loan Assistance Program
As of September 30 2025 208 Manheim Central High School graduates have received loans with 110 borrowers enrolled full-time and pursuing undergraduate degrees; 44 borrowers in payment deferred status 2025 graduates or post-graduate continuing education; and 43 borrowers in repayment. Manheim Central High School graduates apply for loans and if demand exceeds available funding recipients are selected based on criteria that includes but not limited to academic achievement community service social activities need and other considerations. 42 new loans were granted during the fiscal year ended September 30 2025. Total loan disbursements were $373,792 during the fiscal year ended September 30 2025. As noted in Part 1 of this Form 990 funding is received through contributions from Manheim businesses and community leaders and interest from restricted funds held at local financial institutions of $33,901 and $9,731 respectively during the fiscal year ended September 30 2005. Revenue includes $17,378 of interest income from student loans during the fiscal year ended September 30 2025 and that is non-cash as this interest income is incorporated into the borrowers loan principal outstanding annually on January 1.
