TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC RELATIVE THERETO, TO FOSTER SOUND LEGISLATION IN SUCH FIELD; TO ESTABLISH STANDARDS OF PERSONNELL AND WORK; TO COOPERATE WITH THE JUDICIARY, THE BAR AND ALL ORGANIZATIONS INTERESTED IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUTICE; AND TO PARTICIPATE AS AMICUS CURIAE IN IMPORTANT APPELLATE CRIMINAL CASES.
