  • COMP Scientific Symposia and Awards

    The ACS Division of Computers in Chemistry (COMP) sponsors scientific symposia at two National ACS meetings, one in the spring in San Diego, CA and one held in the fall in Chicago, IL. These two events included 500+ abstracts and 10 days of symposia to serve the approximately 2000 members of the COMP division. The division also sponsors COMP related symposia at regional ACS meetings. In addition the division sponsors over 25 awards in the form of an annual prize for Computational Chemistry Excellence, and numerous poster awards for emerging scientific faculty, postgraduate and undergraduate students.
