Ono Grange Hall Restoration Project
In 2021, the Ono Grange hall burned to the ground in the Zogg fire. We received an insurance payout as well as a lawsuit payout in 2022 and began rebuilding our Grange Hall. This is a community-driven project to restore a vital gathering space for local events, education and services for our remote, rural community. This effort, supported by volunteer labor, grants and donations, has focused on laying foundational infrastructure, implementing modern safety features, and planning expanded facilities. The project not only preserves the legacy of the Ono Grange but also enhances its capacity to serve our rural community, fostering civic engagement and hosting essential programs for years to come.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$1.3KCommunity Support Contributions
Throughout 2022, the Ono Grange has demonstrated its commitment to supporting the local community by providing charitable contributions to the Ono-Igo Community Church. In recognition of their continued partnership and shared mission to serve the Ono-Igo area, we have made regular contributions for the use of their social hall on a montly basis. The collaboration has enabled us to host essential community events and gatherings, furthering our efforts to promote social well-being, civic engagement, and volunteerism within our rural community. Throught this partnership, we have strengthened our shared commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families in need.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$1.1KYouth Fair Program
Youth Fair Program - Our Grange fosters the needs of rural education in youth members aged 5 to 22. Our members have the ability to learn animal husbandry and home arts skills and demonstrate those skills at our county fair. Ten members exhibited livestock (sheep, pigs, chickens and rabbits) at the fair. The also learned to sew and to work together to create a quilt that was sold to earn funds for more educational opportunties.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$185
