Policy and Advocacy - PennAEYC conducts outreach across the state to educate the public and elected officials on the importance of quality early childhood education for children, families and our communities and economy. Our goals are primarily focused on increasing access to high-quality early childhood care and education services for children and families and ensuring appropriate compensation and supports for the professionals and programs providing these services. We do this work through meetings and events with policymakers, engaging programs and the families they serve to share their lived experience with policymakers, community events and engagement activities, media engagement and online communications.
