Cancer Education and Screening Initiative
The Cancer Schmancer Foundation educates the public about the risk factors and early warning signs of cancer and the tests that can help detect cancer in its earliest stages. CancerSchmancer.org includes user-friendly educational tools, cheat sheets, survivor stories, updated health news, peer groups, and consumer guides.We have built a model to partner with local, existing cancer screening services for women in need in order to build their capacity, increase the number of patients screened, and educate the community through grassroots educational efforts.- Our Detox Your Home School Program educates students about preventing cancer and other chronic disease through healthy lifestyle change. Our program currently reaches 100+ schools, and we are working with educational systems and private corporations to expand that reach.- Cancer Schmancer made our BE THE CHANGE youth program available online along with a downloadable teacher/facilitator guide for independent study after viewing. This program educates young people how to identify and eliminate toxins and other carcinogens in their daily routines and to use their spending power to influence healthy, sustainable manufacturing.- Detox Your Home Party - 500+ downloads educating consumers about making healthy choices for products they put in their mouths, on their skin, and around their homes and gardens- We resumed the Master Class Health Summit in January in Los Angeles for 200 guests, with an emphasis on maintaining health in the post-COVID era. This event was recorded, edited, and distributed worldwide on our website as our Master Class Edu-Series.
